Placing students
Placement of candidates according to the scores on the Test is based on the assumption that students have attempted
to answer all 70 questions.
Item Corresponding course level
| 1–6 | Language Hub Beginner |
| 7–20 | Language Hub Elementary |
| 21–34 | Language Hub Pre-Intermediate |
| 35–48 | Language Hub Intermediate |
| 49–62 | Language Hub Upper Intermediate |
| 63–70 | Language Hub Advanced |
Placement is at the teacher’s discretion. For example, a score of 18/70 would mean a candidate would probably
be ready for Pre-Intermediate, while a score of 27/70 would place a candidate in the second half of
Pre-Intermediate. A score above 60 would place students at Advanced.
